The Recreation Ministry of Bethel is committed to providing opportunities for applying His teachings in a recreational environment while building stronger relationships among the church family at Bethel. Recreation Opportunities
Softball
Bethel has both summer and fall seasons. The summer teams are from April through July, while the fall teams begin in September and run through October.

Volleyball
If there is enough interest in this sport, sign up will begin in August. Games are played at the First Baptist Church Family Life Center, usually on Tuesdays. The season runs from September through October.
Basketball
 Winter Church League takes place in January on Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday evenings. The cost is $25.00 and games are held on the 12th Street Recreation Center. For more information, please call the church office at 329-3749.
Church Picnic
Our Annual Church Picnic takes place on the Sunday evening after Labor Day. Members bring a potluck meal and join together for dinner, games and special attractions for the kids.
Annual Golf Tournament
This activity is scheduled in either April or May at the Brent Bruehl Golf Course in Purcell. It is a 4-man modified scramble with a shotgun start. The cost is $40.00 and lunch is provided by the church. Sign up begins a month in advance. Check the calendar for exact date.
